January Update:

Hello everyone!

January has been an amazing start to this year. Both Jay and I have really seen God work in our lives, and we are so incredibly grateful. God has provided in so many ways. We have been blessed in planning our weddings— so many things have lined up in a way that we know it is only God who has done it.

Our newest nephew was born! Cameron Ellis Wester made his appearance! We may be biased but he is perfect!

I am currently starting my new semester of school, and it is already kicking my butt! But, we will get through it haha. A huge prayer request for me is for my placement for field. I will be an intern and work as a social worker during this time. This is where I have to get over 300 hours in, and I have heard some horror stories. I pray that I am placed in an environment that is willing to teach me, and that will be the best situation for growth for what I am meant to do in Guatemala. I have also started working another job to help us with our expenses for the move, settling, and because I have to quit my nannying job come August. So, now I am working at Valley Fellowship church on both Wednesdays and Sundays, along with my full time nannying job, and teaching dance for those who have special needs at Merrimack Hall.

Jay has also been very busy working with the ministry, while also being able to take some extra jobs to help with our financial situation. We have been so blessed that Jay has been offered these jobs— this is what is helping us build our kitchen and closet for our home. We also signed our contract on our house, so we will have this house for three years, which is awesome! Jay has been working on the ministry vehicles and their upkeep. This has taken a lot of time, but he has learned so much from this. He has also had a lot more responsibility now that he is the assistant director of the ministry, but he is doing an awesome job at taking it all on.

He also moved in to our house! He is working on setting up so that we have a kitchen, closet, and furniture so that by the time I move our house is more settled. This house is a testament to God. We could not afford this house, but God provided and our landlord dropped the price to a price we could afford. We really feel as if this is the house God wanted us in.

Another big thing for our family is that Jay’s sister, a very close friend of mine, got engaged! The Fulp family is growing pretty quickly. We are all excited for the those two in their new phase of life.

We are so thankful for all of you. We could not do this without your support.

We truly are so blessed to have the family and friends that we do.

Prayer request:

-We have not reached our goal for fundraising yet, but we know God is in control of it all.

-Kelsie be placed in field wherever would best prepare her for her future in social work.

-Our relationship has we guide long distance in our engagement.

-That God work through us and prepare us as we take on Pre-marital counseling.

-That we can understand more of God’s plan for Kelsie as she prepares for her move and the mission field.

If you feel led to give financially, there are many different ways to do so.
