July was a month of fun for both of us. I had a trip planned for two weeks in early July to finish wedding planning and to spend time with Jay. I was also blessed with celebrations while I was there. It was a great trip. I was able to spend a lot of time with my future family and Jay of course. This was going to be our last time seeing each other before December.
But….. my aunt had a surprise.. she flew Jay to the states for my birthday! It was an amazing gift that I am so thankful for. We had a few extra days of quality time together.
This is my last week as a nanny. It’s exciting to move on to my next chapter, but I’m so sad to leave. I’ve been working for this family for two and half years and we’ve grown really close. I start my internship in two weeks which is very exciting to start. It’s the last chapter of school which is the best feeling.
Jeremiah between the trips has been working at the Bodega on vehicles. It seems like a never ending cycle of vehicles breaking down. This means that’s Jay, Trenton, and some others are constantly working on vehicles. They have also been creating bumpers for vehicles. Jeremiah has also been apart of the outreach part of his church for a while. He has been having a bible study with his partner and a single mother and her son.
We have been so blessed with the love and support we have received. I posted my wishlist for the ministry when I move last month. There are still some more items that would really bless us. If you are interested in helping us in that you can find the link below.
We have a huge answer to prayer that we can finally share….
We have a truck!!!!!!
Our friends, Cassidy Griffith and Trenton Griffith have felt lead back to Canada. They have prayed and decided that they are going to gift us their truck! This is an amazing blessing. We were blown away with their generosity and how God has heard and answered our prayers. As much as we would much rather have them stay, we know God is doing big things in their life, and we are so thankful that they are blessing us in this move as well. We are so thankful that God is answering our prayers. God is good and we have some pretty amazing friends.
The time we had together was such a blessing to our relationship. Long distance is hard, so any time we get together is such a blessing. Long distance has taught us to really treasure the time together.
Prayer Request: -Our relationship. We have no trips until December and long distance is hard. -For Jeremiah. He struggles to truly and completely rest. He may physically be resting, but his mind is racing with all the things on his to do list. Please be praying that he finds rest in God. -For Kelsie. For the change and movement into her internship. That God use me in my placement and that I learn what I am meant to. -The mother and son that Jay is doing Bible study with. Please pray for Jay and his co leader for wisdom, and that the family continues to seek God and grow in their faith. -We are still praying to reach our monthly support goal. We are surviving off our one time gifts, but we are really praying that we are able to have our monthly support reached before I move in January. We are also praying that we can raise the money for a vehicle for me. The truck will be for Jay so that he is able to do more with a vehicle of his own.
If you feel led to support us monthly or through a one time gift there are many ways to do so.
